Dr. Carlos Marrero is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Guardian ad Litem, and statewide Education Consultant. At just 19 years old, he founded a multi-state outpatient psychiatric children’s clinic, school-based mental health centers, primary care, and dental clinic that continues to serve families more than 15 years later. Now teaching at the University of Connecticut and the University of Saint Joseph, Dr. Marrero prepares the next generation of mental health and education leaders and practitioners, helping them build systems that thrive with purpose, impact, and heart.
