Prentice Powell
Powell's poetry career spans over two decades, with his first poem composed in 2003. He gained recognition as the Oakland and San Francisco Grand Slam Champion in 2006 and later won Spoken-Word Artist of the Year at the Black Music Awards in 2007 .

Powell's performances are powerful and thought-provoking, he has Toured with Jill Scott & shared the stage with notable acts like The Roots, Faith Evans, Goapele, and Stevie Wonder. He has also appeared on TV shows, including "The Arsenio Hall Show" and "Verses and Flow" .
In addition to his poetry, Powell is also an advocate for mental health and community support. He hosts a podcast called "All Black Men Need Therapy," which provides a safe space for Black men to discuss their vulnerabilities and challenges .
